In Summer 2023, I had the opportunity to attend and photograph a “Secret River” concert featuring Chicago bands Lawrence Tome, Kimbelle, and Olivia and the Lovers. The writer whom I assisted later published a story (including some of my photos) about the venue — where the artists perform on a concrete pillar as a makeshift stage that they access via boat.
